This first week really changed how I think about teaching. Before, I focused a lot on what the teacher does in class. Now I see more clearly that good teaching is about what we design for learners to experience in differet setting of emotionally, socially, and practically. The stories from teachers in Thailand–Myanmar and Lebanon were powerful. They showed me that even in very hard situations, learning is still possible when teachers are creative, reflective, and committed. I have learned that resources, relationship and teacher desire matter. I also liked the idea of the six learning types. It helped me see my own sessions more clearly and showed me where I can improve.
