"Form Follows Function": Proteins are the molecular nanomachines in biological cells and vital to life. A protein’s specific function is inextricably linked to its dynamic structure, which can only be observed indirectly due to their small sizes. As a computational biophysicist, I try to interpret such indirect experimental data in terms of structural models by integrating them into physics-based computational simulations.
