creating supportive learning environments (discussion)

Creating supportive learning environments might differ from place to place. Especially, it depends on the students that you are teaching due to their ages, lessons and grades. For instance, teachers should  use more learning materials like pictures,  singing and lesson games to help primary students. However, I used speaking and writing to improve their public speaking and critical thinking skills. I used this method before starting class and played some games when students are getting bored and sleepy because I believed that it is better to create flexible classroom even though I have planned everything before class.

The most important thing is to watch every student and treat them equally and friendly in order to build supportive relationship between students and teachers. Thus, teachers are not only responsible for students academic but also take responsibility to train them adaptable for their future in different environment. Finally, teachers must be trustworthy and confidential for students privacy and safety. Besides, students must show their needs and be opened to their teachers for their improvement. Therefore, teachers might know what to improve to keep preparing effective learning environment. Overall, it is important to collaborate teachers and students to build supportive learning space.
