My days as a volunteer teacher

Every teacher in the teaching field has his or her difficulties and problems, as mentioned in the above story.

If I have to talk about my days as a volunteer teacher, it would be the period after the revolution in my hometown. At that time, many people in my town fled from their homes to seek safety. After being displaced for a long time, going back to their homes is becoming a dream. However, education became less priority for many people. However, I had an idea to be a guide for the young learners who are passionate about keeping learning. At that moment, I faced many challenges as a volunteer teacher or displaced person. Since I stayed at my relative's home, I had to help with the household every morning before starting my studies.  Firstly, I faced age gap problems among the students because there were students of several ages who were passionate about education. However, I tried my best to search for resources to teach them due to their level, without a proper curriculum or textbook. It took a lot of time to prepare for everyday lesson plans and discuss with students' gudiences.

I am always proud to be myself, for I have taught such passionate students. Moreover, even though I did not get a salary or pocket money, I am happy to teach a few students because of having empaty them. However, I also had my personal difficulties with my education and the insufficient supply of them.  If I keep doing this without thinking about the long-term, it wouldn't be really effective for either of them or me.
