I have learned a great deal about creating safe learning spaces, both from sharing my own experiences and from reading other teachers’ discussions. This helped me realize that I am not alone in facing limited resources while still trying to be creative and provide the best possible learning experience for my students.
One question I have been thinking about is how I, as a teacher, can create an inclusive and supportive learning environment when I have a mixed group of students, including those with physical or mental disabilities. As a young and active teacher, I often like to include physical activities in my lessons. However, this makes me wonder how I can balance these activities so that all students feel included and supported.
From reading other teachers’ methods, I have gained new ideas for creating teaching materials and activities using reused resources. This has increased my confidence in preparing for the coming academic year.
