I am still in the first year of my current job however I have been lucky enough to already get involved with various public engagement events including visits by schoolchildren to my institute and being invited to give the keynote presentation at an upcoming careers conference. I have also redesigned my team's web pages and written several science blogs. I enjoy communicating science to the public and aim to continue and expand both presenting at conferences to fellow scientists and also communicating with the general public. I would love to do a TED talk one day - something to aim for!
