From my experience, teaching children requires a lot of learning materials.for example, when teaching spelling if the word is " apple" i use a picture card to show an image of an apple. In math, i use pictures such as 2 apples + 3 apples and let students count them. i also make simple flashcards, number charts and small objects like beads or buttons to help students practice letters, numbers and basic operations.
Using these materials help students see and touch what they are learning which made it easier for them to rememberr and understand. it also makes the lessomn more fun. These resources are simple but they make a big difference.
