Digital Tools

  • What digital tools, if any, do you use in your teaching?

For teaching purposes, I used Zoom meeting for face-to-face class, for study group I used telegram messaging app and Messenger, for notifying upcoming classes I used Facebook private group to posting about information and google classroom for assigning the students the homework. Sometimes I used Kahoot app to make the learning more fun and active.

  • Considering the Conversational Framework and the six learning types that we discussed in steps 1.8 and 1.9, what types of learning do these different digital tools support in the educational context you work in?

Study group in telegram or messenger app give the learning type of Discussion.

Watching video on Facebook group or google classroom support the learning by acquisition.

Group assignment on one topic support the student through search engine and power point  is the type of inquiry and collaboration.

  • What else should we consider when choosing a digital technology? You might want to think about accessibility, or how it feels to learn online. For example, are some tools more effective than others in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone to learn in?

We should consider the situation of student when we use digital tools as learning tools, cause some students have difficulties to access internet or electricity so based on those situation we have to decide whether we can continue using digital tools or switch to another possible method.
