Comparing contexts (discussion)

Comparing teaching practices from Lebanon and the Thai-Myanmar border was very useful for me. I can see many similar challenges, such as limited resources, lack of space, and students facing difficult life situations.

One idea I would adopt is using local materials and the environment as teaching aids. For example, using everyday objects or outdoor spaces to support lessons. This is helpful when resources are limited.

The differences between contexts also helped me understand that each situation is unique, so ideas need to be adapted. I think it is very possible for me to use these ideas in my own teaching by adjusting them to fit my students’ needs and my environment.
