Reflections on the week

Please post any general questions you have for the educators in the forum, and ‘like’ any other posts that you would like to see answered. Then we can prioritise how we address them. What are your reflections on the learning you have been through on the course? Have you changed any of your ideas about teaching, or approaches to learning? Please post your thoughts, and also take the time to read through and react to what others have said. We listen to what you say in these conversations when we revise and develop the course for this and future runs!

I have learned 6 types of learning methods and have gotten the essential knowledge that wisely use in teaching. It is difficult to ask question because I knew well not only known methods but also unknown or unfamiliar methods. As for me if I have to ask question, I would like to ask " Are there teachers who uses 6 types of methods in teaching within time bound? " and " How about what if there are so many students with one teacher, how they can control  ?"

From this course, I have learned a lot. I would like to express the things I remembered or knew in the following.

  • Life as a teacher ( I knew the story of teacher's life, esp karen, refugee, and camp)
  • Creativity on resources ( I understood well how I can make learning tools with household materials if the places are rare to get enough resources)
  • Learning environment ( physical and emotional )
  • 6 types of learning (inqu, acqu, practice, production, collaborate, discuss)
  • Comparing and Contrasting between the Thai-Myanmar and Arabian

I will change my ideas as an useful method in teaching in the future, with the knowledges and skill that got from this course.
