  • In what ways is education a victim, perpetrator, liberator and/or peacebuilder in your context?

What education becomes is dependent on the situation. Now, education is a victim because of the civil war; many school from the Karen were boomed and students died. Then the government schools in Myanmar don't allow to teach ethnic mother language in the school so that ethnicities criticized the government. It creates the conflict between them because education is perpetrator. In the similar way, education can be liberator when students aware the human rights and reuse it in their real life to prevent from the discrimination. Education can create peace. To run a school, one person cannot do it alone. People have to work together. During doing this, people know more each other and understanding will appear between them.
