According to the VPLP framework, education can be a victim, perpetrator, liberator, and peacebuilder. We can see this VPLP in schools. One example is that I have to teach children following the textbooks. However, textbooks are created by humans, and sometimes they can include mistakes and harm the feelings of the children.

As teachers with experience, we can notice this and adjust the lesson slightly without affecting the content or hurting the children’s feelings. I mostly work in the microsystem and mesosystem. Sometimes, I also have to work with the exo system and macrosystem because our environment is connected to all of them.
