Challenging behaviour

I have never experienced about this but when a student showed bad behavior in class, I didn’t just react to the action itself. I paused and wondered what might be behind it. I think the student might have grown up in an environment that shaped their behavior. So, I asked the student simple questions, listened to their answers, and tried to notice their feelings. By doing this, I learned that the behavior came from frustration and problems outside school, not just from the moment in class. I research more about the student background and find out the best solution to handle the bad behavior. Sometimes you can change their behavior in a short time, but some of them you can’t change because of their genetics.
