After completing the quiz on Ecological Systems Theory, I understand that the theory is not always about choosing one correct answer, but about thinking more holistically. By the way, I really like the word "holistically". I realized that many situations can belong to more than one system, depending on how we look at them. This helped me see that students’ learning is influenced by many connected factors, not just what happens in the classroom. The theory also made me reflect more deeply on my students’ backgrounds and experiences, especially in challenging contexts. It has helped me become more aware and thoughtful as a teacher, and I will try to use this understanding to better support my students when I actually become a teacher.
