Space for listening to learners

To create space for listening, I use a simple "Check-in" routine at the beginning and end of every lesson. Before I start teaching, I ask a few quick questions to see what students already know, which helps me decide if I need to explain the basics again. During the lesson, I use visual tools like Venn diagrams so students can show their ideas without needing perfect English. At the end, I ask them to write down one thing they liked and one thing they found difficult. This builds a strong Microsystem of trust and helps me change my teaching immediately to fit their real needs.
