Using the learning types in your teaching

Traditionally, I will use acquisition method, the common method of teach. It is monotonous method. If continue to study with this method, some students may find it boring and may lose motivation along the way. To solve this, I need different method of teaching.

First, I will use inquiry method. Having them research or investigate to obtain the information by themselves will remove the boredom and help them actively engage in learning.

Second, I will have them engage in group discussion. Having them discuss with one another will help them develop a positive trait like critical thinking. Hear out their opinion after group discussion or even have them share what they understand in front of everyone.

Third one is practice, the most common one of all. Having them review, reflect, and practice on what they have learned will help them develop deeper understanding of what they have learned.

Lastly, production and collaboration. Teach them how to make use of tools during study time and have them work together in collaboration like group project. This will make their study time productive.
