I would like to share about the English conversation club that I led.
I had a fixed routine back then.
I start the class with greeting each other in English. Since it was a conversation club, the students come and go and there was no rule for their attendance. So, every week, we have new students. We start by greeting session. Each student has to tell their nickname, where they are from and one fun fact about them. Then, we jumped onto group discussion about the topic, and a short presentation. Then, we take a break for 10 minutes. After that, we have a pair talk session. We give one specific topic to talk about. In pair talk, the one who is better spoken in English is paired with the beginner. Then we have a game session where everyone is included. At last, the students should write one thing that they enjoyed or learned during the day.
