Let students sit in small groups so they can talk and help each other. I also try to keep the classroom quiet and comfortable.
For rules, I just remind them to respect others and listen. I don’t make it too strict, but I repeat it often.
I see that when the class is calm, students can focus better. If it gets noisy, they get distracted easily.
One thing I can do is change their seats sometimes, so they can work with different classmates.
