share what do you think of this lesson plan, and the suggestions on the Padlet as ways to change your practice at the microsystem level to support your learners’ dreams? Can you use these ideas? How would you need to adapt them in your context?
Every teacher uses different techniques and methods in their class and I think as long as it is effective for the students any method is fine.
I like the way that the lesson plan starts with the production. But, I think not many oft the students really know what they want to be in their lives at that age. As they need to draw and write about at least something, they would not think deeply anymore and just say whatever they have in their mind at that moment. This might become like a self manipulation to them and changed who they really are.
For me, I would first explain what does a goal in life mean and how it is important to have a goal in life, maybe by sharing my own experience. Then, I will give some time to the students and let them think of their own ones. And continue other steps. "Production" would be the last stage.
