This week I realised how education, conflict, and peace are connected in the VPLP framework,rules and systems can sometimes create barriers, but education also has the power to bring hope and stability. Ecological Systems Theory helped me see that children are shaped not only by the classroom but also by family, community, and society, and these layers all affect how they learn. These concepts remind me that behaviour often reflects wider experiences, so my role is to create a safe space and respond with empathy. They guide me to look beyond the surface and understand what each child brings into the classroom, so I can support them more effectively.
