Offering Conselling to the Students

In my opinion, I don't think offering conselling is the main role of a teacher. This is because offering conselling, sometimes, could be out of a teacher's capacity. However, teachers can still provide emotional support to the learners by listening to them and motivating them.

There are risks that come when a teacher offers conselling to the students. Unlike the professional consellor, an untrained teacher could possibly offer misguided suggestions. Moreover, teachers with no trainings can also be left drained after absorbing problems from the students.
