Supporting your learners

I believe that when teachers design lesson plans that are appropriate for children and based on their interests, it provides the most effective support for their learning. Lessons that connect with students’ interests can increase their motivation, engagement, and willingness to participate actively in the classroom.

In my context, I would encourage students to spell out their dream jobs and share why they want to pursue those careers in the future. This activity allows students to express their thoughts, goals, and personal interests. By listening to their responses, I can better understand their hopes, strengths, and challenges.

Based on this understanding, I can adjust my teaching methods and lesson content to better support their individual needs. This approach helps create a more student-centered learning environment, where learners feel valued, motivated, and encouraged to achieve their goals.
