Space for listening to learners

As a volunteer experience and what i have seem from my teachers, we created space for listening by using simple routines every day and week. Firstly, we bulit trust and have a good relationship between us. Every started of the class, we began with short emotional check-ins so learners can share how they feel for today. We also organize weekly listening circles where everyone can speak in a safe and respectful way. We gave learners the option to share their thoughts anonymously if they were not comfortable speaking. In this way, these routines help us understand learners’ feelings, needs, and challenges. It also helped us respond better, adjust our teaching, and support learners more effectively, especially in difficult or crisis situations.
