Offering counselling can be part of a teacher's role in schools that do not have a counselling group. Knowing about counselling is very useful for teachers in their teaching. On the other hand, teachers cannot take the role of professional counsellors because their time is already full of teaching and supporting students.

It can involve some risks because some students have very sensitive trauma. Therefore, we have to be very careful with our questions and our behaviour.

Our school has a student counselling group, and some schools have child safeguarding groups. These groups provide a safe space for students to express their feelings. However, counselling is not something we can learn in just one week. It takes a long time to fully understand it.

So, in my opinion, providing counselling training for teachers would be a very good program.
