I start my class by asking, “How do you feel today?” and allow students to share their feelings. Personally, I believe that by asking this kind of question, students can improve their self-awareness.
On the other hand, during group work, there may be disagreements among students. Through these situations, they can develop self-management, social awareness, and communication skills.
These are some of the strategies that I use in my class. From my experience, the SEL Game Bank is very helpful for teachers. My teachers and I currently use it in our teaching practice.
