Respect and empathy will also be effective to let students understand their backgrounds and values. For example, when students learn Burmese issues in Minmahaw school, students come from different backgrounds, experiences, and ethnicities. In this situation, we have diverse ethnic group to share experiences to classroom and the history and events are also very controversial to talk about. However, when respect and empathy are taught in class, the discussed topic becomes help students understand from different ideas and perspectives. This help students brainwashing by hearing different perspectives from different ethnicities.
