My activity : Drawing to express feelings.
The activity that i will use in my class room is draw to express their feeling or draw something that important to them. Each student will receive paper and drawing material will be give to draw quietly. After that students can share their draw if they feel comfortable. while one students is sharing, the other will listen carefully, show respect to the speaker.
I will use this activity of the being of the class to help the students comfortable with each other. I will also use it when the students feel stress which make the students express their feeling in safe way.
This activity help the student learn by giving them chance to express their thoughts and feeling. When students share their drawing they start understanding each other feeling and experience, which help build empathy.
This activity help the teacher manager the classroom effectively because it create calm and positive atmosphere in the classroom. The teacher also can learn more about the students and their emotions through their drawings.
I think your activity is explain clear and easy to follow, another teacher can understand how and when to use it. I like that you use drawing because it give students chance to express feeling without pressure, and they only share if they want. This is very good for safe and supportive environment. The activity also can be effective for classroom management since it make calm atmosphere and help teacher know more about student emotions. Maybe you can add little more detail how to support students who don’t want to share at all.
