In my teaching, I help learners identify and talk about their emotions by asking simple questions about how they feel and creating a safe space where they are not judged. Sometimes I use visual tools like emotion charts or simple drawings to help them express feelings such as happy, sad, or worried. I also observe their behaviour and participation to understand their emotional needs. To support their well-being, I use group activities, games, and short relaxation or breathing exercises to help them feel calm and comfortable. I think I could also use tools like the Wheel of Emotions to give students more vocabulary to express their feelings. These techniques can help students feel safe, understood, and more ready to learn.
