Key principles of a supportive learning environment

In my experience, these principles can be used in all learning contexts, even in conflict and displacement settings. They are very important because students may feel stressed or unsafe, so a supportive environment helps them feel comfortable and ready to learn.

To build a supportive environment, we must create place where all treated equally, supported , included and embraced by the teachers. It is really important to  activities to bring students together. The education in the conflict and crisis settings,  we must create activities did not triggered the emotional and traumatized situation of the students.

However, there are some challenges like limited resources, large classes, and some students being shy or not active. I have faced this in my class. To solve this, I try to use simple activities, give clear instructions, and create a safe and friendly environment so students feel confident to participate.
