Learning from the course

This week, I will try using a simple Social Emotional Learning activity by starting my class with a short “feelings check-in,” where students can share how they feel using simple words or gestures. This idea is inspired by what I learned about creating a safe and supportive learning environment and the Ecological Systems Theory. I hope this will help students feel more comfortable and ready to learn. I expect that some students may feel shy at first, so I will be patient and encourage them gently. I want to see if this small change can improve student participation and create a more positive classroom atmosphere.
