hare your experience

From my experience, I see this a lot in class. Some students are quiet or don’t join activities, and at first I think they are not interested. But actually, something is happening outside, like family problems or stress (microsystem).

For example, one student didn’t talk much. Later I understood the student had problems at home, so I didn’t force them and gave simple activities like drawing. This is how school and home are connected (mesosystem).

I also see some students don’t have internet or materials at home, so I try to support more in class (exosystem / techno system).

One question I got from the this lesson is,  I still wonder is how to deal with strong cultural beliefs, like when families don’t support education (macrosystem).
