Create a personal profile in our course group page:

Introduce yourself to your peers and tell us something about yourself. During this course you will be asked to come back and edit your profile and add more information in small practical assignments.

This is how it works:
  1. Add a new entry to this course group page to create a profile. Type your name in the 'concept' field.
  2. Add some information about yourself in the description field. Let us know who  you are, what you like and what brought you here!
  3. If you like you can add a profile picture or a short videoclip.
  4. And don't forget to tell us what open science animal you are!
  5. If you want, you can add comments to your peers' profiles. Or say 'hello!'

Let's create a word cloud together!

Tell us your discipline and see how many different disciplines are represented in this course!

Marina Pino

Hi, I am Marina Pino. I have a degree in Food Science and Technology and a master in Food Ethics and Law, both from the University of Barcelona. In my workplace I’m mainly involved in European projects that aim to transform the Research & Innovation system in order to make it more open and inclusive, in line with Responsible Research and Innovation and Open Science.

I’m interested in this course because it will give me more insights of how Open Science serves as a tool to strengthen the relationship between science and society and its use in other fields beyond health topics

I'm a Meerkat, by the way!

Mwamodenyi James

I am passionate about biodiversity conservation that contributes benefits to the local community. I am concerned about climate change and would like to pursue the subject of 'Climate-smart landscapes'.

I hope this course will enhance my ability to communicate to my audiences on matters pertaining to environmental conservation, biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods and climate change issues targeting from the person in the villages with little schooling to policy/decision-makers.

I am a Meerkat.
