1. Definition of corporate philanthropy
Corporate philanthropy is an important component of the larger notion of CSR, and the two terms are frequently used interchangeably. CSR is a term that refers to a concept that focuses on the whole effects of company behaviour on society, both locally and globally. On the other hand, corporate philanthropy is more concentrated on assisting critical sectors and initiatives of public interest. It primarily refers to contributions made by the business, its staff, or both individually to non-profit organizations and charities.
