how can teachers create safe spaces? (discussion)

  • First, teacher can be role played as a parent (listener : active listening), no matter how his/her idea is valid or not.
  • Second, giving feedback without judgement, cause judgement can lead to discrimination. Your judgement forced them to not speak out loud or making blockade of their critical thinking.
  1. For second question, teachers also have their policy and students either. For example, there's no discrimination or harassment upon student or any other people.

  1. What do you think is the best way to advocate for safe schools in such contexts?
  • I have not too much ideas, but my belief is let them speak out loud and guide them with flow, cause you can't force the monkey to swim.
  • What more could be done to ensure the safety of schools and their communities?
  • Kindda similar to previous question (for me)
