how can teachers create safe spaces?

I think what teachers can do the best to create safe space for the students in the school is to practice inclusive teaching like treat everyone equally regardless of what gender, race, living standard they are and listen to every voice (not focus on one student). so that they feel included not to be too strict on the students on the homework or assignment so that they will be happy in the school because some students do not time to study in their home in order to help their family's livelihood.
