Make a change with limited resources

One experience I did together with my students was creating a rocket experiment in our science class. We reused water bottles and other drink containers to build rockets. Since our school has more than 100 plastic bottles every day from different types of drinks, we decided to reuse these materials instead of wasting them.

Students worked in groups to design and build their own rockets, which made the lesson more engaging, fun, and meaningful. At the same time, the activity helped raise awareness about recycling and using available resources responsibly.

This is one of the activities that both my students and I enjoy the most.
