There are many interesting ideas and technic in the Class Routines resource or Padlet and that are the creativity of the teachers. I also want to share my technic. I start the class with an introduction and a game to refresh the students' brains and help them begin their day with full energy. After that, I start the lesson. During the lesson, I ask them questions, so they do not feel bored or sleepy. If I feel that they are becoming bored or sleepy, I play some games with them.
I also set a clear study plans and make agreements with them. For example, I teach them for 30 minutes, and if they can focus well, I let them play games. My class is very flexible, and every student can express their ideas, and they are free to excuse themselves whenever they need to. They just need to raise their hands. At the end of the lesson, I plan to leave 15 minutes to review all the lessons that I taught them during the day. I found that this technic is useful and effective when I teach the children. I always believe that if the classroom is the safe and supportive place for the children, they will enjoy studying in that room.
