It is very likely that I will use these ideas in my teaching. At Minmahaw, I already use fruit and daily life examples to explain math foundations or game or other app , so I know that creative resources work well for my students. I also think using the local environment is important because our students face many challenges like displacement and civil war. By using routines and resources that are relevant to their lives, I can help them feel safe and motivated to achieve their long-term goals like the GED.
