using the learning types in your teaching

I used to use this kind of learning types in my training. I was not teaching but sharing and I used similar learning types like this. It was a peace workshop in a small village, cooperating with my classmates. Here, we use acquisition, discussion, practice, collaboration, and production. Before we talk about peace, I asked them to group (4 people in a group) and to create their own peace sign (how peace look like to them) with their group and then present in the class. Therefore, children learned groups discussion and learn new idea from each other and gain the confidence to speak Infront of people. However, it was a problem with the discussion. Not everyone participates in the group. They seem like to be excluded from the group since they cannot give any idea, and I did not know what to do with this.
