Using the learning types in your teaching (discussion)

I started the lesson with a short explanation and examples, which focused on “learning through acquisition.” Then, I asked students questions and encouraged discussion, which involved “learning through discussion.”

After that, I included a group activity where students worked together to solve problems. This allowed them to learn through collaboration. I also added a short practice activity where students applied what they learned individually, which supported “learning through practice.”

Overall, the lesson worked quite well. The students were able to understand the topic better because they experienced it in different ways, not just by listening.

However, I think I could improve by including more “learning through investigation,” such as letting students explore or discover answers on their own before I explain.

In the future, I will try to combine these learning types more effectively to make lessons more interactive and student-centered. This will help students stay engaged and support different learning styles in the classroom.
