In my context, education is a victim when the students must drop out because of unstable living situations or when families are too afraid of the local political situation to send their children to class. For the Perpetrator, If we only taught in one language or ignored the different ethnic backgrounds of the students, we would be perpetrators by making some children feel like they don't belong and become feel left out and discriminate. Education becomes a liberator when we teach students that they have rights and the power to think for themselves, giving them courage and confident to change their future. We are peacebuilders when we bring children from different groups together in one room to play and learn, showing them how to solve problems with words instead of fighting.

Schools are often targets because they represent the future and authority. Attacking a school is a way for armed groups to show that the government or a specific community cannot protect its most vulnerable members. It is also a way to stop new ideas from spreading.
