I am familiar with the fact that education can play multiple roles.

Education can be a victim when schools are damaged, closed, or disrupted due to conflicts. In such situations, students lose access to learning, and teachers may not feel safe.

It can also be a perpetrator if the curriculum or teaching methods are biased, discriminatory, or present one-sided perspectives, which may increase separation among students.

At the same time, education can be a liberator. It gives students knowledge, skills, and confidence to improve their lives and think independently. It helps them understand their rights and opportunities, which can lead to a better future. Most importantly, it brings hope for the students.

Education can also be a peacebuilder by promoting values like respect, empathy, and cooperation among students from different backgrounds.

Schools are often targets of attacks because they represent government systems. In some cases, disrupting education is a way to create fear or weaken communities.

Overall, teachers have a powerful role in shaping how education is experienced. By teaching, sharing knowledge, and respecting, they can turn education into a force for peace and positive change.
