In what ways is education a victim, perpetrator, liberator and/or peacebuilder in your context?

In my context, education can be seen in all four ways of the VPLP Framework.

As a victim, education is affected by limited resources, overcrowded classrooms, and sometimes instability that disrupts regular learning and access to quality education.

As a perpetrator, education can unintentionally reinforce inequality when some students have fewer opportunities due to language barriers, economic background, or lack of inclusive materials.

As a liberator, education helps students develop knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence. It gives them opportunities to improve their lives and understand their role in society.

As a peacebuilder, education creates a space where students from different backgrounds can learn together, respect each other, and develop skills like communication and cooperation, which are important for peaceful communities.
