1. In what ways could the theory help teachers to understand how different system level factors affect their students’ learning and wellbeing in contexts of conflict and displacement?
Well, I think first and foremost, it will help us understand more of the students and how would they prefer to learn. We can clearly see that everyone their own things going on with their life and by getting to know the students, like their environment, their culture, their social norms, this will be a key to bridge them back to education and help them grow individually. For sure not everyone will be academically intelligent, but it will help them to try harder and we as a teacher can help them grow further.
2. How could this theory help you to help your own students?
Well, this is something I have already known in the past, but not the name. Since most of the students come from the same background as me, which is from refugee, it took quite more time for them to learn something. However, now I know the name of this theory and how it works, I am sure I can affectively implement this inside my classroom.
