This quiz helped me understand the Ecological Systems Theory better. I learned that students are affected by many things, not only what happens in the classroom.Sometimes, it was difficult to choose the correct system because some situations can belong to more than one system. For example, media can be part of the exosystem, but it can also be part of the macrosystem because it affects society’s ideas.The most important thing I learned is that this theory helps teachers see the whole picture of a student’s life. It reminds me to think about family, community, culture, and life experiences when I teach.
