creating supportive learning environments

As a teacher and a student, I have used and seen a few different class routines to keep the students active and focused in their studies. One of the most effective ways, I suppose, of keeping students active is mindful walking. Before we start our class, we walk to somewhere outside of school for a few minutes, talking to each other while walking. This way does not need any material, but to walk, which makes you feel fresh, especially when students feel sleepy.
