Comparing the contexts of Thailand-Myanmar and Lebanon was very useful for me because it showed that teachers in different parts of the world face similar challenges, such as limited resources and teaching students from conflict-affected backgrounds. The examples from teachers in organizations like Jusoor and MAPs inspired me because they used creative and simple methods to support learning.
However, there are also important differences, such as cultural context, language, and levels of support. These differences mean that I cannot apply the ideas exactly the same way, but I can adapt them to fit my own context.
I believe it is very likely that I would use these ideas in my own teaching. Simple strategies like making my own materials and using the local environment are practical and effective in resource-limited settings. This comparison helped me feel more confident and creative as a future teacher.
