So far in the course, one of the key skills I have been developing is learning how to effectively use digital tools to support teaching and learning. I have been exploring different platforms and resources and thinking about how these tools can make teaching more accessible, organized, and engaging for students, especially in contexts where educational resources are limited.
Another important skill I have been practising is inquiry and research. Through the course materials, I have been examining how education is carried out in other conflict-affected regions such as Lebanon and Gaza. By looking at how teachers, peacebuilders, and educational organizations respond to challenges like displacement, resource limitations, and instability, I am learning how different systems approach similar problems.
These experiences support my overall learning goals by helping me develop a more analytical and solution-oriented perspective. Rather than only focusing on my local context, I am learning to study and compare different educational approaches in conflict settings, so I can understand how effective strategies are designed and how they might be adapted to support education in migrant and displaced communities like the one where I work.
