Space for listening to learners

I use some simple routines to create space for listening to learners. For example, I start the lesson with a short check-in where students can share how they feel or talk about their day. I also use pair or group discussions so students can express their ideas more freely.

Sometimes, I ask open-ended questions and give students time to think and respond. I also try to listen carefully and show respect for their opinions.

These routines help students feel heard, build trust, and create a more supportive learning environment.
