I think this lesson plan is a great way to use transformative education to help students look their current struggles. To change my microsystem, I can use "Dream Journals" where students draw or write about their future goals, which builds a stronger bond between us. In my context at a migrant school, I would adapt this by letting them think about the goals that they want to achieve by the end of the school year and display their work on the classroom walls to turn their goals into a visible part of our daily school life, showing them that their future matters.
